The SGW module effectively isolates most diagnostic requests, preventing access to full diagnostic functions for non-original devices. Thanks to the advanced SDA230 adapter, it is possible to bypass the restrictions imposed by SGW, which allows full access to all diagnostic functions.

However, to erase diagnosed error codes, the SDA230 adapter must be connected to the car. How to use
Connect the adapter: Locate the wiring harness leading to the SGW module and connect the SDA230 adapter to these wires.
Connect the diagnostic device: Connect the diagnostic device to the OBD2 socket of the adapter cable.
Start diagnostics: Turn on the vehicle’s ignition and start the diagnostic device.
Perform operations: Perform the desired diagnostic operations, such as clearing fault codes, etc.
Disconnect the adapter: Once diagnostics are complete, disconnect the SDA230 adapter from the wiring harness and connect the SGW.
We recommend that the SDA230 adapter is used primarily for diagnostic purposes. We do not recommend that the adapter is constantly connected to the car’s wiring, as this can lead to unnecessary problems. The adapter should only be connected when necessary.
