Features and Benefits of the SDA6 Adapter
In Alfa Romeo / Fiat / Jeep vehicles, electronic control units are distributed across different communication buses:
- Standalone Diagnostic Interface (e.g., SDPROG OBD): Handles basic modules, such as the Engine ECU.
- Interface + Adapter: Essential setup to connect with the rest of the vehicle’s electronics, including:
- Body Control Module (BSI / BCM)
- Airbag system

Important Note: While using the connected adapter, the application scans additional modules (BSI, Airbag, etc.). To perform engine diagnostics again, unplug the adapter and connect the OBD2 interface directly.
